Use the Finance import tool in investment mode; this panel keeps the workflow separate.
Required: Date, Platform, Type, Ticker, Exchange, Amount, Currency, Price, Fee.
Amount sign convention: positive = Buy or Dividend, negative = Sell. There is no separate Action column — direction is inferred automatically from the sign.
Ticker: use the listed ticker symbol (e.g. AAPL, VUSA). For UK gilts, use the full ISIN (e.g. GB00BBJNQY21). For futures, use the standard root symbol (e.g. GC=F for gold).
Exchange: use the official exchange code in ALL CAPS (e.g. NASDAQ, LSE, HKEX, NYSE, ASX). Leave blank for US-listed securities if unsure — NASDAQ/NYSE is assumed by default. Gilts and UK ETFs should use LSE.

Your real net worth, spending and portfolio return — sourced automatically from your dashboard data.
Using default values — load your dashboard to auto-populate.
All amounts in your base currency. Planning information only — not regulated financial advice.
Add commitments that start or end at specific ages — mortgage, tuition, care costs. Amounts are in today's money, inflated over time at your inflation rate.
| Name | Amount | Frequency | Start age | End age | Annual cost today |
|---|
Net worth, spending & return — sourced from your Finance dashboard: net worth = cash + marked-to-market investments; spending = 365-day rolling outgoings (non-investment accounts); return = portfolio XIRR.
Inflation — every spending figure (base and future items) is compounded forward at your inflation rate. A £30k/yr lifestyle costs more in cash terms each year.
Freedom number = total spending at the projected FI date ÷ withdrawal rate. Spending at FI shows what your inflation-adjusted outgoings will be at that point. Progress today = net worth ÷ today's implied target (current spending + any future items active now).
Future spending items are added to total spending only while the age is in range. For a one-off cost, set start age = end age.
Sync with the goal ring.
Save your freedom number as Financial freedom target in Settings — the dashboard's goal ring will track your real progress against it automatically.
Paste into Settings → Financial freedom target, then save.
Recent investment research and saved decision notes. Saved reports stay pinned above the 10-day list.
